Rick Wallace
(a.k.a. Big Tuna)

I have been fishing for as long as I can remember. I've always been drawn to bass fishing, but have fished for many fresh and saltwater species.

Having lived in the southeast during my childhood I had the opportunity to fish many of the greatest southern fisheries. Now in Texas I continue to enjoy some of the best fishing in the nation.

My professional background in the fishing industry includes being a publisher in the 80's of fishing publications distributed in the Midwest. I also owned a soft plastics company for many years.

During the 80's and 90's spent a lot of time fishing tournaments, but today I'm still in pursuit of the elusive 10 pounder, but not in tournaments.

I started this website to fill a gap. I wanted to develop a complete recourse for Texas anglers. A one stop shop in essence. Where our visitors could find a comprehensive, content rich, library of information to help them be a better angler.

Please enjoy your visit here, and don't hesitate to leave us feedback on how we can improve the site for you. Drop us a note at admin@texasbestfishing.com.
